The Vintage breeks, or knickerbockers, have an elasticized waistband for comfort, side pockets at the front and two zippered back pockets. The ankles have Velcro for easy width adjustment. Traditionally, breeks are worn with a pair of long socks and wellington boots. How do I care for Vintage garments?

To maintain the vintage effect of garments, it is best to care for them according to the following advice:

• Wash the garments as rarely as possible. Instead, wipe stains and dirt using a damp cloth.

When washing:

1. Turn the garment inside out,
2. close all zippers, Velcro and buttons.
3. Do not use a rinsing agent.
4. Use the gentle wash program (30 degrees) with only half a load, short spin cycle.
5. Preferably iron on a low heat to maintain the function and luster of the fabric.
